Steve Head is Chancellor of the Lone Star College system, one of the largest higher education systems in the United States. He’s served as Chancellor since 2014 but has been with Lone Star for more than 30 years as Executive Vice Chancellor, President of two of the colleges in the system and other leadership roles.

Today, we're in San Antonio, at the Texas Pathways Institute, organized by the Texas Success Center. We've had a chance the past couple of days to visit with people at community colleges working on developing guided pathways at their institutions, and we sat down with Davis Jenkins, a senior researcher with the
